Kids Trundle Bed

In early Europe trundle beds were mainly for the servants of the wealthy. Everyone, including the king and his family, along with the servants slept in one big room. Many noblemen would require his servant and armed guard to sleep at the foot of his bed, so to make more room they slept either on trundle beds or pallets. Today’s trundle beds are two beds in one. The top bed is a regular size bed, and the second one is a bit smaller. It is on coasters that let the smaller bed slide under the top bed.
